INTRODUCTION:
As the Chief Operations Officer, you should be aware and concern of the consequences, both ethical and legal action at laws that bedevil driven GEI to consider filing bankruptcy in order to avoid employees at the US operations, but to do this, 60 days notice must be given(p) to employees. GEI, in an effort to weather a armed services cut backturn, intermeshed in get materials and equipment that were substandard. The leadership also continues with their unconcern lieu, which trickled down to other employees to take part in these unethical and illegitimate actions. This memo will outlines situation of events and offers recommendations on what must be done, in order for the company to turn around and to keep in line that these issues can be sorted out responsively. It was well fare that GEI manufactures protective body armor, munitions equipment, and armored vehicles. They are long-term military contractor. As a result, they were highly expected to highly quell by the business code of conduct.



GEI lackadaisical and dishonest attitude which resulted to injuries and deaths of service personnel in combat, made the U.S. military began realizing that the problems lies with these products they were purchasing from GEI. With this, legal investigations were initiated by the U.S. department of Justice to know the causes of these catastrophes, where, families of wound or killed U.S. service members also began filing lawsuits and forming class action lawsuits against GEI.
