Skepticism Philosophy Paper

As rational, conscious adult male beings, we fundamentally do not trust to be
deceived by the temper of our milieu. Our temperament, as inquisitive beings, is to
point our existence and the fundamental nature of reality. Through scientific
observation and philosophical logic and reasoning, we are fitting to see glimpses of the true
nature of our reality. This paper will use the kit and caboodle of Plato and Robert Nozick, as well as
original thought to argue the arrest that human beings benefit from discovering the
ultimate reality and thus filter to achieve it through philosophical debate and logic. By
being deceived of our reality, we would be worse off because we would have a limited
understanding and penchant for the world, we would miss out on a whole present of
experiences the true reality would post us, and we would lack the ability to trade name a
meaningful impact on our surroundings.
By learning near the nature of reality, we achieve a greater understanding of our
surroundings and develop a greater appreciation for the world. If we were deceived by
the nature of reality, we would be missing out on all of the experiences that the true
reality has to offer us.



Using the cave thought experiment, Plato argues in favor of these
points in his work titled The Republic. In the thought experiment, Plato describes a cavelike ingleside in which human beings are trapped since birth with their legs and necks
intimidate so that their gaze is permanently fixed in comportment of them. Behind them is a fire
burning on a high ground next to the exit of the cave. As anyone or anything passes by
the fire, tracing figures are produced on the wall in front of these individuals. Plato poses

the question: if a man were dragged out of the cave, would he suffer or be better off?
