Macbeth can be thought as a sad torpedo or a dead butcher. In my opinion, Macbeth is a tragic hero according to the Aristotles tragic hero rules. The status of Macbeth declines as the play moves on. According to Aristotle, a tragic hero must decline in status collectible to their own error also known as Hamartia, a fatal flaw, which is his ambition to become a king. A Shakespearean tragic hero may be defined as an exceptional beingness of high degree who contributes to his own corruption and illustrates a personality flaw. The character of Shakespeares Macbeth is in solely ways the perfect example of a tragic hero.
