Mystery of the Mayans

The Mayans were a diverse culture who built many large structures in their cities. They had an amazing culture of artists and artisans. Their lifestyle valued the arts and family. They were thriving and growing. Then, the record of their lives shows a sudden disappearance of the people from the cities. T here(predicate) are no mass grave that obligate been found. What changed their world to the point that their cultivation disintegrated?

There are several theories that I find the or so plausible. Overpopulation whitethorn have been a factor. Another issue may have come from drought conditions. The two mentioned the most in my research, and I see them as valid possible reasons for the dusk of the Mayan culture were overuse of resources and constant war. Either of these things can fix a civilization to its knees.

The constant warfare between city-states would have put strain on the warriors and their families. If a city-state that held much mogul was defeated there could be widespread financial consequences for the humans as a whole, not just the warriors involved in the actual fighting.
