After sharing and hearing the testimonials; what struck me most were the estimable reactions of all participants within the room. In the beginning of our reciprocation my workfellow classmates were timid and not as open to discuss their testimonials. however as our discussion progressed my fellow classmates became more open. The moment passim hearing the testimonials that were most meaningful to me were when a fellow classmate discussed racism. Her story was very compelling because it seemed as though our discussion was the first time she spoke on a mankind forum about the issue. Her testimonial was about her experience aid another university and receiving ridicule because she was African hanging out with a predominately Caucasian community. She claimed her classmates continued to call her Uncle Tom repeatedly. She said at the time she did not know what the term meant. She thought it was something good. yet as time progressed she came to the conclusion that they were calling her that because they deemed her to be a sellout. As a result, she did not feel comfortable at the community college and decided to complete her studies their and transfer. During her testimonial, she was very emotional and had to passport out of the room because of the reminder of the humiliation she faced.
