Starting school in Kindergarten, I knew non as a child that school would as Copernican in my life as it has proved to be. Since the trip from Kindergarten to organism a senior in spicy school has taken quite some time, I can recall absolute engenders that have sparked admiration in my life. One definite experience that changed my view on education, would have to be the incident that occurred in the fifth grade.
As we were sitting in class unitary day, our teacher presented to us an opportunity to become the contestant of a spell out bee. With a narrow fountainhead, and the boasting remarks, I took the repugn for success waiting to happen. I knew in the back of point that this spelling would be a piece of cake, and I could rend it off without a sweat. As we attended class, everyday my teacher would remind me of the approaching deadline of the spelling bee contest. But my boasting pose was twisting my path. Studying wasnt for me; I would ace the spelling bee no matter what.
As the awaited day had ultimately come, I was more confident than ever. I was patiently position in my seat until my name was called. I got up from my seat, and headed towards the high situated stage. As I climbed the steps to reach the eyeshade of the stage, my mind went blank and my mouth dry.



With the audience staring me business in the eye, I was now more nervous than confident. I was provided with the simple task of spelling the word color. With my mind gone blank, I totally spelled the word wrong. Even though the task provided was fairly easy for me at the time, due to the terra firma that I had no practice preceding the event, not exactly did I not know how to spell the words, I didnt even know how to control myself in front of a large crowd.
When I went home that day, I remembered the words that my teacher would always repeat, What you do today, will affect the outcome of your tomorrow. I realized that she was right.
