The British Music Invasion of the United States during the 1960s changed every aspect of our society forever.
The stratum was 1945. The war was over and the servicemen began to return home to America. The usually conformist society of the 1940s and 1950s America would never be the same again.

Johnson increased the United States involvement in Vietnam and made a statement declaring war on poverty. This stance of his was called the Great companionship Program and it ended up widening the powers of government and nip and tuck taxes which caused very high inflation.



In the meantime, broadcast television was viewing to all of the citizens of America the systematic beatings of Martin Luther Kings amicable Civil Rights members, making it obvious to the people that the government was no longer interested in protecting their human and complete rights.
The passiveness of the youth in America was beginning to fade. The oppugn of the countrys leaders was gaining power. Something as seemingly non-influential as music was about to begin to define the coming era.
On February 7, 1964, the Beatles landed at LaGuardia airport in New York. Their exploit on the Ed Sullivan Show, a hugely popular and iconic entertainment television show of the time, came to be known as the official beginning of the British Invasion.
